Buying a brand-new TMU game code with coppers: possible?
Hi there! I haven't visited these forums in ages, so I don't think any of you will actually remember me, but I got a story to tell. Recently, my brother hit the 10k mark on coppers. And that reminded me of something... Didn't it use to be possible to buy a new TMU online code with 10k (that's 10,000...

Even Portal 2 gets a multiplayer mode. TM2 not having online multiplayer is not only a rumour, but an extremely unlikely one too.

Re: Your estimation on how much space TM2 will take up onyou
I'd go for 2-3 GB, the biggest advantage of TM has always been the fact that it uses a tileset, which means you only need to have a single file for each tile and a lot of text files indicating what tile goes where, but if you consider how small the track files are you download from TMX, those text f...

Oh wow...
I don't log into this forum for a while (a few months) and they announce TM 2? Wow, just wow... Now I have two sequels to look forward to!

Re: Im new here
Hi, and first of all, welcome to Trackmania! A must-visit site as a trackmaniac is http://www.tm-exchange.com . It's essentially the biggest hub for TM track exchange on the internet, almost everyone uses it, and the TMU-part features nearly 60,000 tracks, and the TMNX-part almost 35,000. If you wan...

Very nice mod, it looks like someone built a track in Rally and then left everything to grow freely a few years, and returned in spring to see what happened.
Very nice job

Hey, c'mon dude, get some more faith in yourself. Only because you're new to the game doesn't mean you need to use the simple editor, just go into the advanced editor and get the crap scared out of you when you see the huge block hierachy... About the savegames: sorry, can't help you. Your medals ar...

Re: Trackmania::Arena Progress Report
Yes, layout always seemed to be my problem... I can take hours to get a simple piece of JavaScript right, like a link (f***ing punctuations...), but I can't spend 5 minutes to fix a minor CSS issue that, when fixed, will seriously enhance the looks of things... I also never completely got the hang o...

Re: Trackmania::Arena Progress Report
I'm sure most people want to help with website layout, since HTML and CSS aren't too hard to learn (Javascript neither). Nevertheless, I might be capable of some webdesign. I also got some small photoshop skills, though the program takes ages to launch on my computer (thats my computer's fault, once...

Re: Convert all"NIGHT TRACKS" to "DAY" ! `*TMF*
why you would want that? the mood of a track is a very important part of it. Tracks set in a different mood feel different, even race different. I would see no other use than to change the mood of a track you're working on/you find especially annoying in that mood, and then you can use ctrl-click. N...

Re: Map Design & Framerate?
Yes, especially the undo-button is a pain in a copper-heavy night-mood Stadium track. Same counts for deleting pieces. Sometimes it keeps on deleting the parts you highlight, even if you no longer hold the delete-key or in delete-mode press your mouse button.

I haven't looked at Blender for a long time either, because I was affraid I couldn't use whatever I made with it. But I've changed my mind today. I'll just follow tutorials in the spare free time I have the next few weeks or months, and see what I can accomplish.
A grey box car. Hmm, can do, I guess.

Re: Nadeo doesn't want money?
Well, Nadeo certainly is becoming bigger and bigger. They grew from a small, quite unknown game developer to quite a big name (though still only few people at my school know Trackmania). Especially the step to Steam was a good decision, as it's the fusion of two big (okay, one big and one colosal), ...

Re: any chance for TM demo 1.2.5 internet server coming back?
That's the usual answer, "buy TMUF", but I understand your nostalgic feelings, Tim. However I must also disappoint you by telling you that Nadeo remains a company after all, and that the community around 1.2.5 simply grew too small. I don't think the server will be put online ever again.
