TMForever Optional Patch: 2009-11-24 v2.11.25 - StarEdition

Post by nocturne » 28 Oct 2009 17:40

The current TMF patch/fix versions are 2009-11-24 v2.11.25 for United (TMUF) and 2009-11-24 v2.11.25 for Nations (TMNF). The United patch adds on the new community-made StarTrack Campaign, and should be available directly in the game launcher. There are no published changes/fixes for the Nations patch (all previous updates are included).
Dowload: Zip file versions: Note: Use only in cases where the installer refuses to work. Just unzip into your TMF game directory. If using on a distributed version, it's a good idea to backup the TMForever.exe and TMForeverLauncher.exe files first just in case...

Changelog: (note: all fixes are cumulative -- all you need is the latest version)

Hey....sorry for bumping an old topic, but I figured this was the best place to put this. I've searched through the forums and through Google, and didn't find anything similar to my problem, so... I just downloaded the patch here, thought it could fix a few minor bugs I been having with TMUF...but when I try to run the patch, it says that TMUF was not found on this computer.

I missed a few files in the TMUF zip patch, so it's best to use Slig's: http://dedimania.net/gamefix/tmuf_fix.2.11.23.rar

Edit: Fixed top post...

:roflol:
good day I'm not sure where to turn to on this subject but i'll start here.
I enjoy downloading and playing tracks from TM United Exchange and
then post my best time and award author if warranted.
Approx. 2 weeks ago I updated my game TMUF w/ this update
viewtopic.php?f=42&t=23459
All seemed well and i could continue my downloads and postings.
On friday 11/27/09 I opened and started the game and a small popup window
appeared stating new updates available. For me this is no problem as i've
seen this in many games in the past.
But now when i try to post times on tracks it states i dont have the correct
version of the game. Has one update canceled out the other, or caused a
conflick between them. I'm mostly looking for the right direction to solve this.

Thx for your time Fearless Freap :1

Are you talking about putting the tracks/times up on TMX? If yes then it means they haven't updated their version checking algorithm to cater for the updated client version. This is really a question for TMX. :)
Cheers!
