*HELP* TMUF

Post by djfpiice » 31 Jul 2014 20:35

Im having some issues with trackmania forever united in advanced settings it says NVIDIA Geforce GTX770 8mb... If im not speaking to the appropriate person about this problem can you please forward it to the correct person. I can email screen shots of what the game looks like and what it says in my advance settings. My preference would be to use SKYPE that way I can go over thing in real time about vc drivers, sys info, and trouble shooting.... It seems like I have tried almost everything under the sun. BTW the game did work for a while with killer graphics. All my tm2 games are like game porn!!! Except for Trackmania United Forever. Sincerely, Frank P. Igaravidez

Is it the first time you're trying to play TMUF with this video card?
Perhaps use compatibility options (Windows XP SP3).

If you want to share screenshots, please upload them somwhere else and give links here.

i do admire his persistance. hes got the same issue ive got in my thread, about literally the same thing, but with a different nvidia card.

apparently newer video cards with too much vram are completely unsupported. and after about 2 gigs of vram it makes the game think theres zero gigs. which makes it go into some weird compatibility mode, that can't be turned off.

there appears to be no way, as far as I've found to bypass this.

and to top it off every support thread ive read on this issue goes ignored beyond this point. so, darn, i guess.

Kind of clutching at straws here, but if it worked before it might be one of the older updates (Star-maps pack?) that has messed things up? :ftw: I've never really had this problem, so I can't really help I'm afraid.

If you can't find any help here it might be worth trying the Maniaplanet forums (which are definitely still active): http://forum.maniaplanet.com/
