Here is the new Version of [Aseco2.2.0c and further] Dedimania Plugin v1.0.

What is changed:

This version has changed dramaticly. Due to the changes Slig announced on dedimania forum link:

I made changes to the plugin of Dedimania originaly by Calsmurf for Aseco. As i can see on the stats of dedimania there are over 50 servers that use the old version of ADedimania.

This version will be needed as it will correspond to the new dedimania that xymph and slig are designing.

The following version of Aseco is tested: aseco v2.2.0.c + aseco v2.2.1. Both versions work....!!!!!

The Following is added:
* A Better dedi_compare time.
* Better Server ports so that ADedimania doesnt slow down dedimania Site overall. Thanks Slig for the Help.
* No more records sending below 8 secs of Authortime or 6 Secs driving time Thanks to Xymph
* Aseco shouts out an error when wrong masterserver login + password aswell as Nation.
* Better Ranking methods of a playerjoin.
* Rounds: multilap challenge with the number of laps different than the main number of laps of the map (mainly using RoundForcedLaps) is not supported ! (eventually the script can send best lap as a Laps record)
* Added a better laps count.

What will be included in Next versions

Where do you extract the .rar file?
Just in your root map of Aseco. Just click Yes in Winrar. It will do the rest for you!!!!

What do i need to edit:
Dedimania.xml should be edited with the following things.

Code: <masterserver_account>
<login>Login of server can be found in dedicated_cfg.txt</login>
<password>Password of the server</password>
<nation>Where is the Server located!</nation>
</masterserver_account>


What do i need to add the plugins in plugins.xml?

Code:<plugin>chat.dedimania.php</plugin>
<plugin>plugin.checkpoints.php</plugin>
<plugin>plugin.dedimania.php</plugin>

Are the ones that you need to add!!!!

What bugs/errors can occur when value $dedi_debug = 4?

Hope You will have a nice record beating with this newly updated plugin. I can see that alot have hoped and waited to see a new dedimania plugin.....

hmm.. i just write a post here... but its gone... maybe somewhere else :S

Well i have just a little question.

I just now downloaded Aseco2.2.0c for SourceF....
configured and started it.. runs good..

Then i downloaded Your dedimania plugin just now, but
it asks for some files. CheckpointsExtended and some chat for dedimania.+.
From what release do i get this files ?

I will, upgrade or Reauthor tomorrow :D

By the way you can take out the Code handling my Menu, I will be adding it in the XML file, I am changing quite a bit the way I sorted things, having dedimania menu just on the main menu isn't very tidy.

but from what relese do i take them ?
They are not in aseco.. and not in your plugin.. i find them in
some xaseco, but i dont know if they are the once..

ops sorry. i got this error:
[ASECO Error] Plugin "DediMania" requires the "CheckpointsExtended" plugin to run stable!

so i was looking for CheckpointsExtended.php :S

Ah ok now i get your error.

Next release this will be included the "real name of the plugin" and not the class name off the plugin.

When i started to reauthor it was tested on aseco v 2.2.1. But as you can see the dedimania plugin version 0.7 works on it because 2 servers use it....?

I will look into it though but priority is that this version runs stable enough.

0.7 doesn't work on 2.2.1 natively, i tried, aseco crashes at startup when it tries to load dedimania. If 2 people have it working, then they modded it.

2.2.1 isn't officially released. Once it is, then you can make changes to make it work right.I might do it this weekend, I have a couple of other tweaks I want to add for stability.
