Post by miguel201086 » 18 May 2010 13:43

Good afternoon!

I'm some amateur in the servers configuration.
I know how create a server with ServerMania.
But at the hour of start the records manager I've problems.
Before I used Fast but generated problems in the Warm Up.
Now I want try use ASECO but I haven't idea that how install, run up and configurate.
Somebody expert can me explain how configurate him?
Can make me a "guide" to configurate the ASECO?

Thanks for your attention.

A little odd to still refer to the classic TMN/TMS/TMO dedicated server instead of the TMF one. That's worth a warning, at least.

Hello!

Thanks for the guideline.
But I've problems with the MySQL.
First I don't understand this part:

b) Installation
MySQL Database
The MySql server you've installed now will need a structure to know how to store records, players, votes etc.
That's why there's a folder in your ASeCo root directory called "localdb". It contains a file named "ASeCo.sql" which will tell your server how to organize the many information ASeCo is going to put into the database.
To import this file go to the command line and browse into a folder called "bin", which is located in your MySql directory, using the "cd" command:
cd "C:\Program Files\MySql5\bin"
Now we are going to log onto the MySql server:
mysql -u login -p
Replace "login" with your MySql login, then you should be asked for your password. In the last step we import the database structure from the file (replace the text written in italic font after your own needs):
mysql> source "D:\ASeCo\localdb\aseco.sql"

Thanks for attention.

what kind of webserver do you use of mysql.

A tip might be usbwebserver..

http://www.usbwebserver.com/UsbWebserver.rar

From there just run phpmyadmin and load the aseco database .sql file.

Code: Select all
