FAST for Canyon

When will be available FAST for TM2 Canyon? FAST is my favourite server tool so I really want to use this instead of some others.

PS. I can force to run FAST on Canyon server but I'm not sure about important differences and possible incompatibility with some plugins.

Hi all,

For those who want to, you can get a beta/prerelease of Fast4 for TM², on http://slig.info/fast4.0/ :D

Report any bug or strange thing of course !

Btw don't forget that the current dedicated has few changes and/or bugs, that it's not easy to check all, and these could also change in next dedicated releases, so fixing some of them too early would not necessarily be a good thing.

Also, that first Fast4 version is an adaptation of my latest current Fast3 version and does not use new features like maniascripts in manialinks (nor maniascripts custom gamemodes which are still not available in the current dedicated). Real new features will come later.

I won't support adaptations of main Fast3 3rd party plugins, at least not in next few days/weeks : i have not tested them at all, perhaps they work as is, but i can't be sure. Btw you can report problems with them too.

I already installed fast4.0 with latest dedicated server 2011-08-16.
I didn´t test it a lot, but on the first view all worked well, except dedimania seems not yet activated?
After that, I installed localrecsplugin (last version from dj), but that didn´t work at all. You can´t even see that it´s installed. ^^

Yes, i did not specified it in the post, but it is in the changelog ;)
Dedimania for TM² is not ready, and btw it can't until a way to authentify/check a dedicated account (directly or not) is available.
After that, I installed localrecsplugin (last version from dj), but that didn´t work at all. You can´t even see that it´s installed. ^^
I will try to look at it : if a *quick* fix can be done i will do it soon, else it will wait.

Btw i think about adding builtin a local record support on local mysql, it would probably be better... but not good for the GPP part relying to local records. The main problem is for me, to find both time and willing to work actively on all that.

Yay Slig,
Looks like we need a new Forum for FAST4 now :)

I've started it up. Local recs aren't working for me. I've posted some bug details over in the dedi forums.

D'oh... rookie mistake. Localrecs plugin isn't part of the FAST package.

LocalRecs are working, but still a bit buggy with not displaying while driving, they only show on the podium?

I also can't get track votes to work. Details posted in dedi forums.

if I would have to decide I would like to see a clean local-recs-plugin.
I would cut the server ranking and the additional welcome message etc. out of the existing localrecs plugin.
All I need is pure localrecs (with 0,000 instead of 0,00) ;)
