Hi!

Is this a new install or an update from 0.82 to 0.84? If its a update make shure that you updated all files...

Sounds like one or more files wasn't extracted properly. (I did that too. )
Cheers!

Or perhaps a typo/syntax error was introduced when editing a configuration file?

Thanx for the quick reply

the RPC Error -506] Method 'ChatSendServerMessageToLogin' not defined is gone.

I enterd the wrong <account>YOUR_SERVER_LOGIN</account>

But the Error -1000 still stands... cant figure it out...

Check config.xml in detail. Make sure there are no errors in tag definitions. Example ... you may have changed a parameter value, but when doing so accidently deleted the < character of the closing tag; such as ...

<admin>login-name-here/admin>

... which should really be ...

<admin>login-name-here</admin>

The error messages in Aseco console can sometimes be quite obscure, but RPC errors often relate to malformed XML in the .xml files used by Aseco/RASP.
Cheers!

No errors in config.xml. What about localdatabase.xml or any other files from the v0.84 distribution that you edited?

Which TMN server version are you running?

The "[RPC Error -1000] Command reserved" problem happened once before in this forum but unfortunately no solution was posted in that thread, and I don't recall seeing the "Command reserved" error before, so I don't have more specific advice.

Aha, yes... you need the latest, 2006-05-30, from the Resources links on my page, which points here. Upgrade and try again. :P

You also need to make sure the dedicated config file has the right superadmin username/password in it also.

Ok great, glad it worked in the end. And that it wasn't an ASECO problem.
