Xymph, I just wanted to ask about the /admin prev command. It seems like it works fine if there are no juked tracks, but if the jukebox gets filled up with a few tracks (I tested with 5) then that command doesn't work until the jukebox gets emptied again (It will just go forward to the next track in the jukebox)

Is this something that you can reproduce as well ? Hopefully, it's not something specific to my server.

Sometimes I experience some hickups. I migrated from 1.10 to 1.12 last week and now every now and then xaseco seems to loose track of current players. Specifically it seems there occurs some off-by-one. One player leaves though chat reports that someone else left. That player has to leave afterwards or he/she won't have locals accepted or being capable of using admin rights (xaseco thinks it's someone else and reports that the player doesn't have admin rights which is right by itself just the wrong person).

Today I tried with truncated tables to make sure it wasn't a migration from 1.10 related issue but it's reproducable.

Used plugins:
nouse.betting_v1.6
fufi.menu.v0.34
alternate_scoretable-0.8.7
gerymania-0.9.4.zip
records_eyepiece.php-0.9.5
tm-karma-dot-com-1.0.1

(Those are the recommended ones in the records_eyepiece plugin from undef.de)

Edit: Screenshot also shows this when players leave...

The mechanism used for /admin prev was overruled by any jukeboxed tracks. This applied to /admin nextenv too. I've now rewritten them to use the jukeboxing system, so they work correctly with and without (other) jukeboxed tracks. This also insures next-track type widgets will show the right info.

I built this a while ago, but as a regular global ignore, analogous to /kick. A timeout mechanism would add a separate complication, so that won't be done.

All this will be in the next release, whenever that'll come out.

Hey,

you can add MasterAdmins, Admins and Operators. Is it possible to make an 4th Rank? For example

Name: VIP-Player
Rights: none

So that i can make 5 or more Ranks.

Is this possible? And if so, how?

All XAseco versions work with classic TMN, and should work but haven't been tested with TMO/TMS.

with new version of dedicated server (2011-02-21) you could add this lines into

aseco.php
line ~1064:

Code: Select all

case 'TrackMania.VoteUpdated':
$this->releaseEvent('onVoteUpdated', $call[1]);
break;

Yeah, naturally that will be in the next release, but anyone needing the event can already add it now.

Hey Xymph,
I have v1.10 installed still. Can I directly update that version to v1.12?
If not where can I find v1.11 so that I can go thru that version to incrementally update?
Thanks!

Yes, every release is a complete package, as most times too many files changed to bother with incremental updates.

How is work on v1.13 coming along? What new features do you have in store for us? v1.12 has felt quite flawless so any improvement on an already almost perfect system would make you a god! =D

Very slowly. :( Someone really needs to invent two extra hours in a day.
nicomoore0 wrote:What new features do you have in store for us?
Enough, eventually, for a release.

Nah, just stubborn. Thanks for the kind words.
