I'm willing to pay $50.

I'm purchasing three licenses on release day, and will be most likely hosting a LAN party on release weekend. :)
Thanks, NADEO! I'm stoked for this release.

(Now, to find out how to get in on the beta...)

----------

Also, on the ladder and people that are worried about their current statuses being ported. I actually think it will be nice to see a fresh start. With the huge fanbase out there now, many got in later in the game. It will be fun to see a fresh ladder with all of those people starting at the same time (assuming they all buy when the game comes out.)

We can still play TMUF too if we're worried about those rankings. But they are separate games, so I'm fine with separate ladders.

And if you're so good to have a top ladder spot, it should be easy for you to get back up there anyway

The price, I'm not too interested in that...
The game is way more important, if the game's good, one pays more
If it aint what you'd expected, you wont pay for it.
We all know the average prices of games, imho its a matter of taste..
IF it as good as we think it will be my 50 Euro's will be added to the TM owners account....:P

Games seems to be so expensive in Sweden in comparison with USA. I'd definitely give $80-90 for TM2.
Stupid financial crisis.. :(

Am I the only one who paid £20 for TMU?

I own two copies of TMU but haven't managed to find TMUF in stores anywhere... my town seems to dislike selling arcade racing games. :/

but to me, if Nadeo sells the game for £20, I will pay £20. if it sells for £40, I will pay £40. I'll probably buy two copies as well, unless with owning two copies of TMU I can somehow transfer that across for a free TM2 account or something..

I bought TMUF for £10 via direct download from the official site a couple of weeks ago during the promotional blowout.

Buying games at a shop, though nice when you check them out, is becoming more outdated. Direct downloads are quicker and infinitely more flexible - you can buy them immediately, then download it immediately, they're more sustainable, no DVDs, no cardboard/plastic packaging, no warehouses needed for storing stock, no postage, and no petrol/gasoline needed for delivery. Basically no overheads, other than bandwidth.

Also, why buy the same game twice?

Now those are also good reasons why gaming shops in the near future [or already now] are getting less and less income! The only disadvantage of downloading online is that you need to know what your looking for- where as in a game shop you can just go in a see what sort of games [that you have probably never seen] you could be interested in and buy it.

I play on LAN with my kids, and I want to have a legit license for all the machines we're playing on. I also like to let them have an online account, which requires individual licenses.
