Blender can export file in .3ds, then, with the converter of the game, tranform the .3ds into .gbx files.

Quite true, but Blender does not always export 3DS files that the TM launcher will convert. Of course Blender versions are always being updated, so this may no longer be the case. But up until v2.43 Blender exported 3DS files don't work for TM conversion....unless you manage to get a Blender/Python script to work....but that's a whole different set of problems for Blender's own forums.

There are plenty of other free & simple 3D apps, (Blender being the most complicated) such as CarCAD, MilkShape, zModeler etc. (google : free 3D app), that can also export 3DS files too, and some of them even convert using the game launcher....amazingly. :sweet:

For anyone planning to try their hand at 3D modeling or vehicle creation, I'd advise to pick an application that has a large forum and faq/userbase of it's own, where you'll likely be spending a lot of time reading help and guides. But remember 3D is one of the most brain frying apps you'll ever use...it needs a lot of thought and imagination. So if you want a quick job, doing something easy, 3D modeling isn't likely for you. :1

Yes, really!
edgar wrote:how smart of you
Smart has nothing to do with it, it's just a fact.
edgar wrote:i can not get 3dsmax or gmax
Gmax is of no use, as it does not export 3DS files. Now THAT's smart!
edgar wrote:can you help me? :( :(
I already did. I advised there were free apps, and what to google for. Here they are again :

Google : "free 3d apps"

There are many examples of free 3D software, such as those I already listed. MilkShape, CarCAD, zmodeler etc. (search the interweb for those too!) in fact any application that can export a 3DS file is worth a try to see if you can find one that you can use easily, and that exports a 3DS file the TM converts properly (beware of converted GBX files only 1KB in size, as these will not work).

After that you really should try posting to the proper forum "Vehicles" thread...as skins are only flat 2D images used for painting colours and textures onto! :3

The answer is no. You can only import the 3ds templates (see Nadeo 3DS models topic) to see the structure, and the tutorials of course. You have to export the proper model into 3ds and use the game's converter (TmLauncher>Help>Convert Geometry)

Use Wnblows Exploder. Copy the GBX file that the TM launcher converts and exports.
You can then paste it to another location as many times as you like, renaming them as you go. Make hundreds of differently named files from one original if you feel like it. :?

Who your brother is? Because for GTASA Pinluli did an EA convert 240SX (in TM, it has already been done by myself).

If you have exact questions about importing, just ask freely, but asking "how to make 3d" is not excatly exact :D
