Bright parts on my car?

Helo all.
I have asked a french froedn to try and transpate the "official" tutorial on custom cars so that might clear this up...in the meantime...

Do any of you know where you specify the self illumination of a area of the car, ie lights?

Is it in the detail.dds alpha chanel?

Please help if you can:)

Yep,

The illum.dds is to make a light halation on tour "object" details (dBody now).
To do that, copis your Details.dds, and remove the parts you don't want to be illuminated, and blur a bit the rest.

If you want to see your lights, you must to duplicate the face af your Lights in your 3D file, and name them
LightFL1, 2 or 3
LightFR1, 2 or 3
LightRL1
LightRR1

You can't have more.

And if you want to have the lights beam on the road, you have to make a simple little plane between your front lights and name it "LighFProj".
