To render chrome in TMU, you have to clone the parts you want to be chromed, and assign them to the glass material. Clone them 1, 2 or 3 times for a better render. Don't use chrome for you low polys, it's useless.
I'm really dense! Someone explain exactly how to do this, or else I will probably explode like a firework trying to figure it out.
