Force the mood of a online track (not the Mod)

Post by Cherimoya » 07 Aug 2008 23:34

When you create a track in stadium, you have to specify in what mood you want to build (Sunrise, Day, Sunset, Night). When you have a mod installed, you can select this after selecting a Mood. So far so good. You can have any mod in the mood you like.

With the method SetForcedMods you can force a online client to load a specific Mod. Is it possible to change (force) the mood as well?

It seems that the map structure of a mod is always Skins\Stadium\Mod\Moods\Day and not any of the other moods. It also seems that it doesn't matter because renaming the Day map to Night (Skins\Stadium\Mod\Moods\Night) for instance, doesn't have any result. The mod is still loaded but the mood of the online track stays what it was before. Can a mod set a mood as well?

could you not make a mod .. with all moods in it .. as the mood you want .. ie: copy the mood as day, night, dusk etc in the mod zip then force that mod??

That i think would work ;)
