Physics Mods

Are there any physics mods out there?
IE:
Change Gravity mod.
Swap enviroment physics.
Change Car weight.
Change Friction (Grip).

I dont know of any that changes gravity, I think that would conflict too much with server gameplay. lets keep the wheelson the track, say Amen.

but in thought of your other mention, that is possible, I've see it on TMX.

I'll give them a try.

I know changing physics on existing tracks would create problems for online racing. I don't race online anyway so it wouldn't matter to me. However what I had in mind is in future environments or future versions of the track editor they could have it be an option when you create a new track.
IE: when you create a new track now you select an enviroment and a time of day. New options could easily be added to choose a physics model and even vehicle type, weight, friction etc... Options like these could have default settings so people who don't want to change anything can just jump right into the editor. These types of added options would expand the possabilities of track creation tremendously. It would be as easy to save with the track file as the time of day options is now.
Something as simple as a friction option would give you the difference between a tight grip formula one track or an ice racing or drift track on the same enviro.

that would be simplier to just added custom car
modification, like the gp racing, and well your at
it, throw in a e-brake and widen the steering. :D

Thanks, Kadaz, for the upload and feedback.
I downloaded those tracks and tried them out.
They don't actually swap physics they really just swap the background graphics.
For example you could load the Stadium editor over a Rally Backdrop. The track edits, has physics and plays just like Stadium but you can drive off the editable area into the Rally enviros outer area.
Kind of a cool mod though.

What I'd like to find though is a way to play on a track like Coast with the car physics from Stadium or Create a Rally track with the physics from Coast.

Custom car physics would be cool but that would be a whole other game.
I agree an E-brake would be nice.

Yup... well that would change things alot, I think
the place to start would be to allow the physics
of each enviroment in another, and hopefully that
would include the track pieces too, or what would
be the point.

Envirroment Physics is possible, but the others would crash gameplay.
