Downloaded/added tracks don't show up when they don't match the server's packmask.

Same if the server is in Laps mode for non multilap maps, or Stunts mode for non stunts maps.

I know there has been a few revisions of the dedicated server, and the current version is beta. If possible could ;
- Stunt mode with warmup be fixed ? currently warmup times out in less than one second. I think it should be set to equal stunt time limit
- Add force laps in cup mode (like in rounds)
- fix warmup in cup mode when using a lap track ,to only do one lap on warmup (the same as it does in lap mode)

Why is it so hard to use the search function?
Try the tutorial section in this forum, or have a look at Xymph's Quickstart Guide

[edit]I now see that I probably have the same problem as BLaHiTiS but I thought that you would want to know that more are having this problem. I'm running my server on Debian linux.[/edit]

Hi, I have a problem after installing the 06-10 beta. I've copied all relevant information from my old dedicated_cfg.txt to the new one, but for some reason the server won't start.

ConsoleLog:

As you can see both the config file and the matchsettings are loaded, but it can't connect to the master server. What am I doing wrong?

Did you actually have non-standard <name> values for the three levels that you felt needed to be edited out for security? Those really need to stay SuperAdmin, Admin and User, so if you changed them you should revert them and if you didn't you could have left them in the post because it's misleading to replace them with 'xxx'.
Other than that, I don't see anything unusual in your config, or it would be that the XMLRPC port deviates quite far from the default port 5000, but that still shouldn't be a problem.

The ports are not a problem. And the xxx was just added in haste. I just get paranoid about giving out too much information about my servers :P I have concluded that the problem with this beta lies in the linux version and not the windows version since noone with windows have reported a similar problem. I've rolled back to 05-19 and everything works perfectly.

It work on many linux, that is sure ;)
i think that in most problem cases, it's caused by unusual kernel, is it your case ? what distrib and kernel is it ?

It could be interresting to launch it using strace which log all system calls of the program, perhaps it will show what system resource failed to be obtain :
strace ./TrackmaniaServer /dedicated_cfg=xxx.cfg /game_settings=xxx.txt /nodaemon >tms.log 2>&1
(the look at the end of tms.log)

I know it's running on Debian 3.1 (Sarge) at the moment. I haven't got the kernel info at hand right now, but I'll try and get it for you. It should be the original kernel that came with Sarge. I could also try and install the beta again as a test server and see if I can get any results with strace.

I have a problem too. Server seams to start up properly as the last lines are "Starting match...Synchronization....Play". I guess that means the server works. The only problem is that no one sees my server. I am behind a router and I am not sure which ports I need to forward. I fowarded TCP 3450, 5000 and 2350.
<server_port>2350</server_port>
<server_p2p_port>3450</server_p2p_port>
<xmlrpc_port>5000</xmlrpc_port>
Is there anything else to forward?

At least port 2350 needs UDP forwarding too, not sure about the other two. You might want to just add UDP to all three to be on the safe side (that's how I do it for my servers).
