I have only upgraded one server past week to the dedicated 2009-08-01, but i've seen something curious.
If i join the server fist and others (ex. 10 players) join after that, the scoreboard shows 2 players per page.
So i have to go 5 pages for 10 players.
If i where joining as 8th player its shows 8 players on the first and 2 players on the second page.
Anyone encounterd this too?

Well, my problem is only partially solved. I have my server listed as the server account I created. How do I make it a United server? It is still listed as a Nations server. The duplicated server names in the lobby resolved itself. It just took time for the original name to disconnect from there. Both listings joined the same server though.

Did you set "Stadium" on the servers packmask?
Then it will allways be listed as Nations.

What happened to posting the TAR versions..? Not really incredibly necessary, but there's still a few people that do everything via bash console.

Any half-decent Linux distro has the Info-ZIP tools installed, and otherwise you can still follow the link to xbx's original post with the .tgz link.

I have one more problem. I think that sth is wrong with this version of release. It ban people with reason :

Code: Select all

[2009/10/25 22:55:14] Ban login1_: Time incoherence.
[2009/10/25 22:55:31] Ban login2: Time incoherence.
They playd normally and just get banned.

Maybe people could say which tracks this is happening on? The more info, the easier it is for xbx to start error-checking...

I updated 2 of our servers to 2009-10-09. After that update, the guestlist support is not running like it should run. If you want to join directly the server and press ok at the passwordquestion, you get the "wrong password" error. But if you first join spectator, you can join that way when you change from spec to playerslot.

Does somebody have this issue, too?

got a small question regarding the rounds mode. the problem is, that every round has it's own timelimit. for example, for a 60 seconds track, the timelimit to finish it is about 90 seconds. after the first finishes it obviously switches to around 15 seconds, but that's normal.

though that first timelimit when nobody has finished yet, i really want to get rid of it. i actually came across the problem after reinstalling my server, but i also crossed it the first time i installed the server. back then i actually solved it, though, but this smart guy forgot to write the answer down somewhere... -.-'

any help is really appreciated!!

edit: it's solved, but i'll write it down for the others... and myself if i would forget it again sometimes... :1

in the rounds-matchsettings file, newrules should be off. it's as simple as that. ^^'
