It doesn't matter really, it's only a warning. You can remove it though, have a look here

NAT means network address translation, and refers to a somewhat secure method of requesting your router to forward an external port to an internal network address. Basically, if you want players to be able to connect to your server from the net, your router needs to forward incoming packets to your specific pc.

If everything is properly setup, and your router isn't too buggy -- you'll be fine. But still, it's best to disable NAT, establish a static network ip for your pc, and then set your router to forward connections to your server (and p2p if needed) ports on your shiny new static ip address -- all of which google can explain better than I, and you can get router specifics at portforward.com .

NAT means network address translation
I know what it means i just can't figure out how to port forward it.

Edit: by the way Ant the Loop Back Adapter did get rid of the warning message but i couldn't connect online

Are you reading the Media State under the proper network adapter? If you can connect to the net, well... you're not disconnected.

Here's a direct link for what I believe is your router, showing exactly how to set it up for trackmania: http://portforward.com/english/routers/ ... _Mania.htm

To test if your server is accessible, you can use Slig's test page: http://dedimania.net/deditest/

It's really no harder to manage than any other aspect of running a TMF server -- just need to follow a few directions.

Ok, well i'm pretty sure thats a NetComm N3G005W 3G Wi-Fi Router, but its strange cos I can't see a guide for it on portforward.com to give you a link to.

Use sligs test page though (noc posted it above) to see if your server really is accessible or not.

Well thats just the manual for the router, I don't need to see that. All you need to make sure of is that your server can be seen from the outside world (portforwarding) and that you have setup a static ip on your host pc for the router to forward everything to (which I have given you a link above to help you out)
