In some places, shadow are on by default.
If you place a shadow tag there, it will reverse it.
There is no solution for the character number, sorry.
About the top-10 list, mine is black too, even if i have green in-game

Has anyone discovered just how many char's you're limited to? I tried with my nick to use 3 colors, but with a color variation for my clan's tags and best I could see was that I could only have 24 char's. Anyone confirm this?

Ex: [PnX]MistaObvious with the code like $f00[$ff0PnX$f00]MistaObvious.

The problem is that color codes use up the character space.
I'll check soon how many characters you can have.
EDIT: 20 characters max, including color codes.

Not sure, but I think it's 21 characters, or more probably 21 bytes (so less chars if you use 2 or 3 bytes utf-8 characters).

And in TMN multiplayer/internet account it's 25 (don't know why it's longer, but it's a good idea to have the same nickname in profile and internet account: in game you see the nickname from profile, but after going in the players profiles infos you will see their nickname from internet account)

I just checked it. For TM Nations the limit
for your local profile is 20 characters.
for your ladder profile is 30 characters.

I have problem with my nickanme too.I know how to do color nickname but the problem is that I want every letter in another color.
I want something like that:
$fffG$9993$777U$555C$444H$000Y....so there is problem with to many lettets in my nickname.But i saw one clan hawe the same nicknames with the same colors.I wonder how to do this.Can anybody help me????

That nicks too long!
You cant have diffrent colours on every latter, if your name is that long

Hmm... I dont get one thing on shadowing text...
Sometimes I see black shadow, sometimes I see white shadow, going crazy?

Well, I just wanna know how you make shadow as black, becaus I always get white...
