CUSTOM MENU MUSIC TUTORIAL BY CROSS

PROGRAM NEEDED:
MP3 AND WMA CONVERTER

Step 1.

First, find some music you would like to use. This can be any song you want as long as it comes in a .mp3 or .wma file. [These are the most common files so you shouldn't have to worry.]

Step 2.

Second, once you have you have your song[s], download the file in the PROGRAM NEEDED section.

Step 3.

Once you have downloaded the program and have installed it, drag the songs that you want to be in the menu music into the window of the mp3 and wma converter. [NOTE: What ever order you put them in is the order you will here them. This is best used for one song but you can make multiple to make the song switch after the first one is over.]

Step 4.

Next, click the dropdown arrow to select the file .ogg, this is the file that TrackMania uses.

Step 5. [2+ SONGS ONLY]

If you are using 2 or more songs now is the time to click the button MERGE, this will combine the 2 or more files that you have into one.

Step 5.5 . [2+ SONGS ONLY]
Once you have the merged file, drag the new file into the window of the program.

Step 6.

After you have your file, click CONVERT. A window will open saying where you want it. Click OK, same as input file should be selected.

Step 7.

Once it is done loading, it will appear wherever your music file is located. Goto your TrackMania folder and find the folder called GameData. In there, there should be a folder called MenuMusics. Usually located in C:\Program Files\TmNationsForever\GameData\MenuMusics Drag your song [The OGG file] into that folder. Then take out the file that is already in there.

Step 8.

Run TrackMania and enjoy your new menu music!
