Well I only play the classic TMN, and I can't find any newer versions than the ones I mentioned. But that doesn't explain why it won't work. Are the updated versions you talk about in any way compatible with TMN?

Well, most people nowadays moved on to Forever, so unless someone explicitly mentions to be setting up a classic TMN server, the assumption is they are talking about TMF. For classic TMN, 2006-05-30 is indeed the final server build.
XAseco comes with a quick start guide that helped a lot of people already, so give that a try.

Aseco v0.61b is obsolete and cannot be used with TMF. Its direct successors are XAseco and Aseco/Rasp 2, see the Toolbox forum.

Actually - there could be a problem with your htaccess, so try this :

Goto C:\Program Files\xampp\security\htdocs (or wherever your xampp folder is installed, but you do need the \xampp\security\htdocs folder)

Inside this, find the .htaccess file and delete it (or move it to your desktop if you don't want to do that, but you won't need it because a new one will be created).
Now you can close the folder and type either localhost into your browser address bar or 127.0.0.1 - either should now work.

You will have to set directory passwords again for your connection to xampp itself and also for your databases - if you don't know how to do this, just ask and i'll tell you

late reply, but if its xaseco v1.11 then that line is the admin panel. Do you have this line

Code: Select all

<admin_panel>AdminBelowChat</admin_panel>
in config.xml configured properly ? Or if you changed it, maybe there's a typo or something ?
