Hello there,
you may have already seen this thread on TMX, but I guess not. ( :lol: )

It has come to my attention that people have different physics response by the same game (version^^), in the particular situation of a TMS or Stadiumcar going underwater on Rally and Desert.
You can read the kind of clueless discussion in the link up there^^^^

Basically

some people (the most?)
get slowed down (max speed 100) going underwater both in rally and desert (e.g. our beloved Riolu and EDGE)

other people
get slowed down in desert but NOT in rally (e.g. Me :o )

so far only one person
get slowed down in rally but not in desert (in the tmx thread)



This is kinda weird isn't it :gobananas:

I realized maybe Nadeo still lurk this place and can try to answer?

I think it depends of your graphic card.
With low graphics you don't slow down underwater in Rally and Desert with TMS/Stadium cars. I can't explain why, but I think it's the main reason of this difference ;)

That makes no sense at all.
Plus, I tried on my laptop which runs TMUF at lowest settings and my PC with highest settings - both with the same result.

Do you have proof or just guessing

My old laptop has 128 MB graphics (or somewhere around this) and newer has 1 GB = same effect
