hi all,

The manialink "exemple" ( tmtp:///smurf1.free.fr/mle/index.xml ) was updated with some few changes:
- I add Bgs1 quad style ( this style have few differences with Bgs1InRace )
- I add Icons_128x128_Blink which are the same icons of icons_128x128 with a blink effect

The manialink "exemple" ( tmtp:///smurf1.free.fr/mle/index.xml ) was updated with some few changes:
- I add Bgs1 quad style ( this style have few differences with Bgs1InRace )
- I add Icons_128x128_Blink which are the same icons of icons_128x128 with a blink effect
I have added this manialink in the community section of the in game manialinks homepage :wink:

I don't know if it would be possible to show player avatar in a <quad>. At least actually we don't know how.

Ok Slig , thx for the answer.

We finally showed it with manialink, but we are using a different method but always with quad.
When we are sure it works 100% i will show you how we do.

That would be nice indeed.
Especially the new environment icons I could see being very useful for ManiaLinks hosting tracks and/or mods.

Also the block icons for use in track-building tutorials and the like.

I wonder if every little graphic used in the game HUD/menu can be referred to, or if it's some of them.

As far as the icons for races and editor icons etc ... i would be pretty certain they would be local in ur game folder and not online right?? remeber this game is sold also for solo play ... so i doubt everything is stored online

Solution ... Export them ... host them .. use them lol

I think you misunderstood something, you sort of have things backward.

Indeed all the in-game resources are stored locally in your game folder.
That's why these styles are so nice, they aren't stored online, since there's no need.
If somebody visits a ManiaLink with styles, there's no need for him/her to download, since (s)he already has them in his own game installation.
That is an advantage of using them over custom uploaded graphics files.
(A small, potential problem is that some Nations styles look different from United ones (usually more green), so your ManiaLink could look slightly different depending on the game.)

My question is about which in-game resources (1st sentence in paragraph above) are also available as styles (2nd sentence) through which keywords.

OK, but I didn't answer my own question. :)

Check ManiaLink "example", and you'll see a collection of in-game resources known by name.
I simply don't know if that collection is complete, so I can't even start answering my question.
If it's not complete, it'd be cool to know which word to use to for instance add the cactus logo seen with desert environment stuff (if that particular graphic is indeed available).
