i have trackmania nations, and it has been kind of boring after a year. i don't have the money for the trackmania united. can't wait for it to come out on the 16th.!!!!

Hey there!
The first thing i want to say is that the trailer looks really nice, the music is cool though.
But I have 2 questions concerning the new version of TMN.
1. Will the steering work the same way as in Trackmania Nations? Airbreak, sliding/drifting etc.
2. Do you solve the bugs, i dont know if they are bugs or just some obstacles, but like landing on the eges of tracks! Or on the orange bars in the loops. And overall the loopbugs. It wouldn't make any difernce if they stay in the game, but i would like to know this...
Don't get me wrong, but i am playing TMN for over 1 year now, and as a player who searches the challenge it would be nice to know this.

For me it's quite ok if they stay, they make it a little more harder to drive but if you are aware of them it never was a problem.
Nice to hear that physics will stay the same, it's like "never change a winning team" and indeed it's a winning gameplay.
And big hands for taking the group-system from TMU to TMNF, it was always a motivation to rival with friends!

I thought that the TMN-F physics was going to change to TMU Stadium's physics. Have I heard wrong?Zooz wrote:No physics changes.

TMU and TMN Stadium physics are the same too. According to Florent anyway. Minor differences on PF/fullspeed tracks have something to do with the start/initialisation which is different, I think.
But it's based on TMU Stadium so if you somehow believe that the tmn/tmu physics are different despite the DIRECTOR OF NADEO denying it, then yes, it'll be closer to TMU Stadium i guess.

-gameplay is using exactly the same code, a proof is somehow that same records can be made on both version
-feeling can change because of many things (input synchro, visual synchro, visual performance, CPU/GPU power balance, different visuals) etc.
we even have players telling there are huge difference between two tests versions.

localized or international versions always take longer.
