Sorry but I have to ask this.

Nadeo has persisted in the use of the very harmful Starforce Program. Will Nadeo be smartening up and dropping this harmful software?

Better be IMHO.

Game looks good and all but you NEED different styles of cars.

There is No Starforce so stop questioning about it.

Zooz, thanks for explaining the cyclic turbo.
I can't believe I forgot about that.

It seems like the floor is actually the roof of the actual stadium that surrounds the track.
You're not really supposed to get there, and in general, you don't.
If you have a track where you launch from the finish onto the roof, I don't care if the clipping/bounding box doesn't perfectly correspond with the roof geometry.

Ok then, but it is a bug to see it in a trailer
most players don't know that(if they only have seen the trailer)
but he, I don't got that bug ^^ (tested it out)

*cough*BS*cough*

Even PCGAMER had an article on it...and no offense but I will DEFINATELY take their word over yours. It IS harmful.

Regardless though....my previous post stands.

Well seeing that this was my FIRST POST HERE....I think that YOU need to be more patient in the future. If I have a question I will ask it REGARDLESS of what others will say.

Whenever there's random anti-Starforce bitching, it's always someone's first post.

Then starforce is as harmful as any other copy protection system like sentinel or syncrosoft, or even PACE who operate in the same way of directly accessing devices with own comunications drivers. With ilok they complain that it's taking too much cpu time, with syncrosoft they had lots of disturbing rumors about this, as well as destroyed hard disks and even printers that were destroyed even if it didn't work anymore trough a dongle on the parralel port).

Development went on and these people who had rea incidents who were no doubt disadvantaged by the copyright system now stay quiet because they are happy that their prob got fixed.

At the other hand, some others who may not have problems still has to complain about some companies because they are very radical in their EULA, you loose or break your key you better be insured. It's always something really.

Then there's the games community that remains highly allergic, even if most if not all problems around the development and compatibility with this software is gone.

Saying 'starforce' is already enough. It's almost a word that makes alot of ppl go inside their computer and see if ther's not smoke coming out of their gpu.

I'd really would like to have any random anti shouter out there to take a lie detector test to see if those who jump on the baricade to co-boycot starforce are really having problems themself :)

It seems like i'm defending starforce, but actually i'm more defending common sense and I'd really like to call this a fear control that anyone will understand who tries to understand that software evolves.

Most problems here in the community were due to outdated or conflicting drivers and yes it was a hassle to actualy install a driver to be able to read a cd to be able to play a game: that's true.

I know I did alot of support for that myself and had a few tools from starforce themself to view what's wrong with the cd and mostly it was version mismatch. The worse 2 things I encounderd was someone who had to upgrade their firmware , and someone 's CDdrive who wasn't compatible with starforce: but they made a driver change especially for that person. You couldn't really blame their support they were ready to give.

It's up to the user ofcorus to decide , i'm not trying to influence someone: just trying to see it a different way then always the same protest song which everyone repeats.

"Starforce will destroy my whole pc" is easy to say even if you didn't have problems with it yourself. And no nuance can be brought against that: It's this what irritates me the most.
