That bug is just a small, forgivable clipping error, nothing too bad.
Overall things are looking pretty good.
I'm not sure I understand Florent's "cyclic turbo" comment though, the only new kind of block in the TMS environments apparently, but what is it exactly?

A booster that cycles its power. It was discussed in the Forever thread:
Florent wrote:The purpose of this block is more complex than stupid. Let's say that it should enable some tracks to be played about different skill of players, with fun, but still be something precise for high skilled players. I think you better wait to use it before starting some harsh words on it. Once you have done, there will still be the possibilities to build tracks without it. If you fear is that too many tracks use it, it would be a small fear: this would mean that the block could be fun. I also would like to say that nothing is random in this block, it is quick cycles of one second. TrackMania is about precision, I know that ;)

So... anyone else besides me actually want to see some of the new snow blocks of TMUF rather than anything else? :)
These look awesome, sure, but I really want to see something besides the new stadium or desert.

Any idea how this will impact servers? Will it be a different server download? I use Servermania (which I really like) and I'm wondering if this would need to be ditched or upgraded before I can use the new patch. I'm also wondering about server compatibility... Will Forever work on a United server?

There will be a new dedicated server.

thanks.

any idea if this will simply mean pointing the front end tool ot a new executable? Or should I dash all hopes for ServerMania to work with this new server (unless it's updated)...

ofcourse people who previously worked on software are able to create upgrades for their current projects. When this will be is completely up to them.

oh sure. I don't mean to belabor this. I was just wondering if third party tools are likely to require changes to accomodate the new server or if the changes were slight enough such that this is unlikely necessary.

You can be sure that gathering the list of changes is a project on its own :D
