reading the description of the game about the cars being totally realistic, and no mention of a trackeditor, i doubt it'll be competition for tm...

The screenies seem to have bad ground textures, too and to be honest tms still looks a bit better.
"NSR succeeds to be a realistic car racing game that everybody can play." hmm... something tells me this sentence can't be true :P

LOL, how can be this competition to TM, if it looks almost totaly different game. Actualy it doesn't even look that special! (TMS is GAMEPLAY, not Eye Candy, but has amazing graphics if you conseeder speed & great lightening!).
Crashdy looked great on trailers & screens too, but its actually a bag of bugs, with boring graphics & absurd Single player champaign, because of stupid AI (which doesn't now how to use loops & ramps - just drives on the grass   ).

That's a familiar looking game concept :D

But seriously... the graphics do not look as high quality as, for example, in Nations. And also... it's all in the gameplay and NADEO simply rocks in that department. I just can't count the moments I've marvelled at the feeling of driving in TM games, it just feels so great.

"bye bye Trackmania"? Those are pretty strong words and this NSR game should practically do a miracle to make me leave TM :)

I'll wait for the demo of this and then say the final word...

wow some prettie strong views there
so Nadoe have don somthing right
maybe though this is the kick up the bumb Nadeo needs
if similar style games are coming out then Nadeo need to listen to the gamers it allready has

but like slamdunk says we need to see the demo 1st b4 we can start judging

Hmm, reminds me of Crashday... Better graphics than TM, track editor too, more realistic blocks, will take all TM players... Sounded nice and all, but apart from those things it's a crap game you finish in a week and never touch again, like FlatOut. I'm guessing this will be similar :P

I find it quite humorous that they use the phrases "Totally realistic handling" and "over boosted jet engines" in the same sentence.

hahaha nice Dav
That game will never even make it to the same category as TM. Especially after their knowledge of making game engines when nvidia worked with them on TMNations and how many years has it been since TMO was released? I mean they just have ALOT more experience than this new company.

I'm with the others saying that it looks a different game from TrackMania. Doesn't mean it can't be good. And Going solely from graphics isn't the way to judge a game. I think the loops and such look cool.

As for crashday. I'm sure it could be quite a good game if they ironed out a few issues. While they apparently aimed to make the car somewhat realistic the physics engine isn't up to it, same problem as coast in TMS, car not following road right cauing partial or complete loss of control even when you ought to stick on the ground. Had other issues too, and just didn't feel like the same fun as Trackmania has managed. Same thing for this game. Looks like it could be great fun, but without even knowing how they propose it plays nothing is certain. Graphics from a work in progress are the last thing I'd like to base an opinion on.
