But anyway, this update rocks
We see the same effect on the normal campaign as well. We have a few teammates who are new to TrackMania and have been having fun competing with the team on the solo campaign.

We like to show off our new scores to each other, but have to log in to each individual computer to see them. It seems the personal scores update more frequently than everyone else's... But even that is slightly buggy, because the logged in user's new score is downloaded, but the old one isn't removed until the full 24h update takes place.

Let me clarify... I own several TM licenses, so it is installed on 2 desktops and my laptop, but I race with the same account on all three machines.

If I get a better official time on my desktop, then login to my laptop under my same account, I see my score update (even before the 24h), but the laptop also still shows the previously cached score ... Until the 24h update takes place.

To add to it, though, when my teammates and I compare scores at work, we sometimes don't see the update for 2-3 days, not always within 24 hours. So we have to manually keep track of the scores we want to best the next day.

I understand the reason for doing it this way... It probably saves a ton of bandwidth; but it would be awesome to be able to call a force update on an individual racer or team, as well as a force update for a track's top 10 for a specific zone.

Thanks again for the new campaign! It rocketh. :)

When I try to install the update the following happens.
After the language selector I get:

Now what?
I couldn't find an answer on the internet

Which version of the game do you have ? Where did you buy it from ?
I get the same error.
I have TrackMania United Forever v 2.11.19 en
And when I tried to install 2.11.23 (TmUnitedForever_Fix_2009-10-09_Setup.exe) the installation aborts by saying: "You don't need to install this version."

Well, it works for me, and this was my reaction...
:o ... ... ... :lovetm ... :pil ... :lovetm

The mediatracked replay makes a return! That in and of itself is the determining factor for me. I love seeing what other users do for mediatracking, and it gives me hints on what to do with my own tracks.

Being reasonably new to the TM Community I have a few questions, but first I'd like to say that this update was awesome and has some very fun tracks! It's good to see that it finally got released as a solo campaign.

The question is: Who made the ghosts/times? Are the developer times here set by Nadeo or the actual track creators? I'm just curious, because it all seemed to co-align with the original campaigns pretty 'officially'.

On a side note, I was 1st in Aus/NSW for the first two or three days too (in medal count)... although I stopped and fell behind :V
