Good Day All,

I was reading this forum , i to can't wait for United Forever.
But i've got a question.
I keep reading that Trackmania United Forever a patch is for
TMU.
So if i would buy a DVD-Rom of Forever , it won;t do me good?
I have to have TMU aswell?
Or am i understandind it wrong.

I wanted to buy TMU but when i found out about Forever i just
pre-orderd a copy of Forever because i thought it was the Full
game.

I hope someone can tell me i did the right thing. It would be pretty
irritating that i have to buy TMU aswell.

(Excuse the english, grammer is not mij stongest point in
english)

TMU-F is an Upgrade of TMU like a Service Pack for Windows.

if you buyed TMU you will get TMU-F for free, and if you buy TMU-F (like Windows with integrated SP) you do not need TMU. If you would buy both, you would get two accounts.

Thnx guys,

I pre-orderd it from the shop , so there is no problem.
I was worried that i had to buy TMU aswell.
I have an "account" fromt TMS , i just need one though.
Or can't you use the TMS account on TMUF?
In that case it won't be a problem because i bought TMUF,Right?

Sorry i am a bit Nooby about this game.
Played TMN awhile , i liked ,realy liked TMU but never got around
to buy it.

No, you can't use a TMS account. But TMUF alone is okay, you do not need TMU.

i hope i dont get a slap on the wrist off Nadeo... that florent guy is scary..... but from what i can work out if you download TMNF you can at a later date buy a key from nadeo that will unlock TMNF and turn it into TMUF

but then again i could be totally wrong :ftw:

Why would you want to do that?

If you play TMF and you want TMUF, you just buy it and install TMUF next to TMF.

Then again, why would you want to have TMNF installed when you already have TMUF installed (from that point on)?
TMUF is TMNF and a whole bunch more, so there is no need to keep TMNF.

Wouldn't you at least need an update?
I mean it would be a bit stupid to just bloat the download of TMNF by a few
hundred MB by including all the stuff for the other envs if you never plan to upgrade to U.

what i was getting at was for those who cant afford TMUF ar unsure about buying it, they can download TMNF and later on if they get some money or when the think there ready to upgrade to TMUF then they just purchase a full key that unlocks all the TMUF features
