Well it will last forever, because tm-2 is a new game. TMUF is Trackmania1 and the name won't change anymore. So the name lasts forever. xD :roflol: :roflol: :roflol:

On the French forum they said it would run on lower-end PCs as well (i think, my french is bad). TM has always been pretty good with that, it has really low and really high graphics settings.

google translated quote from french forum:
Apparently, the game will run on small PCs.

Zooz, can you give me the link please? Btw, you can check my PC configuration at my xfire... I don't think it can be called even low-end in our days...

Already added it before you posted ^^
But yeah, that's pretty low-end. I guess even TMF can barely run on that. Can't you get a much better one for like €200? :P

Whaaaaat, I can't wait that long!

From what I can see, it looks great.

I don't think it will leave behind the older TM1 users. I think TM1 has almost run its course for veteran users, and they're ready for something updated/new. A move to TM2 would be a natural progression for those people (me inc.).

So how much of this is Fact and how much is Speculation?
Anyone know if the Official name is TM2?
Is it an addon or and entirely new game?
Is it for the PC?

I'm excited to see anything new for a PC version of the TM series!
I've been playing TM since the very first release and I still play the crap out of TMUF.
For me the game never gets boring and I welcome anything new for it.

Most of it is facts, but they're amateur-reported facts through twitter and text messages and such, from people attending the presentation. I'm sure there'll be an announcement later.

nice news for the united-users who are bored of the existing envs. Nadeo wanna make sum bucks so it makes sense to make more envs in similiar style (eg no sliding). i read at tm-actu that nadeo will continue supporting forever though, i hope that means supporting TMNF as well since it's kinda a stand-alone title for e-sport.
