Environment Mixing Base Maps

Want to use the stadium car in the rally environment and blocks? Or another combination? Here's how.

42 blank base maps for v4 environment mixing (as seen in Revelation Skirmish) are here:
http://magnusknight.com/tm/envmix/envMi ... seMaps.zip

These are for TMUF, and include all non-standard combinations of the 7 environments and 7 cars. Instructions are included. It won't work for TMNF of course. Go buy TMUF! :D

The maps have a custom load screen so that people know what env(s) are coming in the map that's loading. The load screen won't show the first time you load a car/env combination, but it should show on the 2nd time and forever after as long as your TM cache is big enough. The 42 mods total 9MB and I think TM's default is 600MB so it should be fine. ;)

Awesome work mix. I allways dreamed about this stuff and the competition was great fun.

Mixo wrote: Save your maps with any name you like (although the "RS" prefix is meant to be for official Revelation Skirmish maps only). If you upload a map to TMX, say which car is used at the end of the TMX Name (until TMX provide another way to specify the car used).

For example:

Your map name: My Map
Name on TMX: My Map [DesertCar]

Use these car names:
[BayCar]
[CoastCar]
[DesertCar]
[IslandCar]
[RallyCar]
[SnowCar]
[StadCar]

TMX allready did something about this.

o New category when uploading tracks for setting which car (default = same as environment)
o Display of car along with environment in track lists
o Some additional options to choose from under 'Track Style'

Thanks to Fastforza for getting this update done in super fast time following the Revelation Skirmish event

Yep, it's nice, but you can't search for the vehicle used yet, so I think the naming convention is still useful for now.

I've updated the site so you may now search without the naming convention. ;)

It's not possible, since it would allow cheating (use a faster car for the same track).
