NADEO LISTEN UP! TRACKMANIA AQUA- TM5

I know different block ideas have been tossed around, but i wont be able to sleep at night if you dont include these blocks in your next addition:


animated blocks; running rivers, waterfalls, lava, smoke, etc....

cave blocks; cave entrances with waterfalls pouring over them

volcano cave blocks

built in "Nadeo" mods

ability to drive on land/ water with cave entrances on the water



just these simple add-ons would expand the series indefinatly

oh, i know some of these have been discussed before, im just thinking ahead past tmu, to tm5. i dont know if nadeo browses these forums, but if they do, maybe they will incorporate some ideas that keep popping up. if they know exactly what we want, maybe theyll give it to us? :wink:

If you were a Trackmania freak you might know that TMU will be Trackmania 2.0, so they're nowhere near 5 yet ^^

Well, I though about a cave mod for coast, where the sky was the ceiling of the cave and everything had a muddy look, with lots of stones of course :)
That was quite cool, but I'm not the one to make something big like this, it was kinda a zax-job :D

Regarding your ideas kyle, even if Nadeo would browse this thread, they would probably not include any of them, because it was difficult and because they are not really planning to add further blocks at the moment, despite the fact that you don't know if these ideas, although interesting, would fit TM at all.

btw you can allready drive on the water in island if you know how :wink:

i was thinking more into the future, after tmu. and yeah, who knows if they would work right. time will tell.

be that as it may, you can still say there is technically 4 tm's: original, sunrise, nations and united. not that i need to list all of them , im sure your aware of them :wink:

so i guess:

original=1.0
sunrise=1.3
nations=1.6
united= 2.0

actually it's not exactlyTM 2.0
there's 2 ways to think about it

1 way is that it's using a new physics engine and could be called 2.0
another way would be because there is no TMII or TM2, TMU shouldn't be classified as 2.0

Florent has already confirmed that United is version 2.0 of the game engine, so it is essentially "TM 2".
