I haven't actually tried this mod (yet), but I looked at the screenshots, and here is my suggestion:

There is a line in the middle of the road where the two road textures meet.
The planks aren't aligned there (one half to the next), so why not either make sure they do, or graphically let those planks end over there, by making it dark like the gaps in between parallel planks.
That would make the roads look nicer.

Why do't you change it and Update the Mod then I'll dowload it and The Wooden Planks could be changed to.
