Hello,
I hope you'll understand my baaad english! (I'm french sorry^^).
I'm trying to configure the lastest version of RemoteCP4 on a remote http server. Everything is ok except the Browse tab.
I have a beautiful php error :
[PHP Warning] ftp_mkdir() [function.ftp-mkdir]: /tm_serv/GameData/Tracks/: Aucun fichier ou répertoire de ce type on line 117 in file /homepages/24/d249523494/htdocs/remotecp/plugins/Browse/index.php[PHP Warning] ftp_mkdir() [function.ftp-mkdir]: /tm_serv/GameData/Tracks/Challenges/: Aucun fichier ou répertoire de ce type on line 118 in file /homepages/24/d249523494/htdocs/remotecp/plugins/Browse/index.php[PHP Warning] ftp_mkdir() [function.ftp-mkdir]: /tm_serv/GameData/Tracks/MatchSettings/: Aucun fichier ou répertoire de ce type on line 119 in file /homepages/24/d249523494/htdocs/remotecp/plugins/Browse/index.php
-> I think the ftp function of remotecp4 is unable to join or make directories in my "home ftp server" where is installed TMUF Dedicated Server...but I don't know why!

sorry.
I took a deep look into your configuration settings, reading it multiple times, but can't find a error. I think its a possible bug in rcp or something with your ftp permission. Try to enable debugging inside the browse plugin (/plugins/Browse/index.php - there is a debug variable, just set it to true).

Hello,
Few days ago, I modified the permissions on the ftp server dans the TM dedicated server directories (chmod 777 to try.). But it doesn't work much better.
Yerterday, I modified the <ftp><path> </path> line for the value: "/home/wellever/tm_serv/Gamedata/Tracks". Now I can see new lines (Campains, Matchsettings...) but I'm not sure this is the right patch and I thought I could see an array or a list of the tracks into the directory.
May you take a look at my remotecp install?

Thanks!
You're account is active now
Like I said in my last post: the <path> </path> value is actually: /home/wellever/tm_serv/Gamedata/Tracks/
This is the only way to make it works like actually. The browse tab is very "slow" and there are errors into "Matchsettings".
If you want I could send you a screenshot of the /home/wellever/ folders tree. And also give you the server.ini. There are no modifications into the Browse plugin files.
Thanks again for your help.
PS: Just a last question. What is the best to make it work? Remotely (like me) or Locally (same server used for TM Dedicated Server with apache2 and php5-cgi)

Would be nice if you could give my account permissions for the browser, can't see the problem

I think the local version of the browse plugin is much better tested and many times faster.

hum... looks like it works now
The array_key_exists error is a little bug not really a error, you can find a little fix for it in the pinned rcp 4.0.2.7 thread.
Only problem I experienced with your server was that the browser is horrible slow at first load. I will try to find a solution to speed up things a little bit for version 4.0.3.0

Ok thanks a lot for your help
But I can't explain why I had tu put the path /home/wellever/tm_serv/Gamedata/Tracks/ and no /tm_serv/Gamedata/Track or /Gamedata/Tracks.
When I manually connect to my ftp server with the same account used in RemoteCP, the default path is already /home/wellever/
I'll try to configure an apache2 server to install RemoteCP locally.

How do I remove the FTP passwords? I use internet explorer to access FTP to some servers. I once set all of them to "remember password", so it enters directly, and now I don't know how to remove those passwords. I want it to ask me the password every time I try to connect. How do I make internet explorer forget those passwords?? Thanks!
