Works nowlille79 wrote:Sry, but pressing "Active topics" in the forum gives me just one topic. Earlier I had all the latest topics where people had posted. Since february 12th I've just gotten this post on my list.
Any way of resolving this? Am I alone with this "problem"?

Re: TM-FORUM3: The new features in a nutshell
this was a bug that - because it was corrected in the new version - actually disabled active topics on the entire board (as it was configured in the admin panel. Had to reactivate it for every board so yes it should work now.

Hello,
I somewhat fixed up the tmforum3 style. Biggest difference is that we can now finally use the quick reply feature as intended and the "code" bbcodes won't produce such small boxes anymore.

Re: TM-FORUM3: The new features in a nutshell
hehe, It had been a long time untill i updated from 1.0something (don't remember) to 1.06. Then almost a few weeks after, 2.07-pl1 was there with a fix for stuff going wrong in 2.0.6.
I'm not sure what they will do next, either go to 2.0.8 or wait untill they can go to 3.1.0 but that will still last a while.
Last week I touched up the internal workings of the tmforum3
/N-Design team so it can work with the latest patch and have quick reply and actually show to the anonymous user. (damn that took me long to realize you have to do it this way but you know, wisdom comes as the years advance

Re: TM-FORUM3: The new features in a nutshell
When did this place get TMforum3 board style? I like it as is more colourful but i find it hard to use as its narrow and not wide like subsilver2
any chance of sorting a wide version of TMforum3 board style?

Re: TM-FORUM3: The new features in a nutshell
you can always choose subsilver in your prefferences. I just choose it as the default view for the anonymous user (someone who's not registered). And it's the default theme when you register but you can always change it in your control panel. to make the margins larger i have to know a bit more about theming and also make the banners longer. I would need a bit help with that

If the TMF3 style is based on Subsilver2. Then this will help you give it a wider look.

Question: would it be possible to put the
"Board index » GENERAL TALKING » News"
also on top of the page (before the first post/forum etc.)?
Because now I'll have to scroll down everytime I want to go back to the forum i was visiting.

Re: TM-FORUM3: The new features in a nutshell
I see this morning the new template of the forum, i found a bug:
For a non registered user the template go to the right and when you see images that was good on the old template (this i use to write)
they go to the right of the screen. I think it is 800x600 or near, i think the standard is 1440 (so at least 1024px for the template or 1200px)
Login button is not clear, i pressed register to login
Nice work anyway!!

Re: TM-FORUM3: The new features in a nutshell
hehe,
kinda strange that this morning you saw a new theme ? It has been in here for almost 2 years!
The thing is that I only found out recently that you must set it for the anonymous user in order to be visible to unregistered members.
Anyway, I can change a few things here and there. I'm not sure about this but i'd think that with the release of tm2 I'm gonna need to upgrade to a unified design. I really don't know: i'm just guessing.
