Many of you are now possessing a lot of Coppers, the TrackMania United exchange unit that you win by performing excellent times on the game’s tracks or by sharing your creations with other players via Manialinks. Until now, Coppers allowed you to race in Official Time, download maps, music, skins or 3D models.

As we promised in our first press releases a few months ago, we are going to transform Coppers into prizes for the most deserving players. Here is a list of the prizes you can get by exchanging your Coppers (in the stock limit):

20 000 Coppers, the game Runaway, A Road Adventure to download
20 000 Coppers, the game Sherlock Holmes - The Silver Earring to download
30 000 Coppers, the full game TrackMania United to download
30 000 Coppers, the game 32nd America’s Cup Virtual Skipper 5 to download
30 000 Coppers, the game Call of Juarez to download

eh... will anybody will race online now or are they all in solo mode to get coppers? :? i mean, i like the idea, to get games, when i donate coppers, but isn't there the danger of some kind of violation behind it? i dunno, i just try to see both sides, and what i see on the negative side, doesn't taste very good... do you guys take care of that?

Yeah it's nice. Anyway i see a lot of things in "danger" now:
- Will people still spend coppers for the solo-ladder?
- Will copper-driven server features (donations, jukebox, lotteries, bets) still continue to work if people save their coppers?

All the sudden coppers are more than just for fun. They might become quiet serious.

One thing ontop i don't understand anyway. Is this one message ("a message", "30000") or three message ("3 x 10000") one has to send? Can the "recommendations" be more specific please?

Yes, this is why I also not really support this idea, people won't be buying anything on manialinks, everybody will keep their coppers, and this can broke down the whole copper-paying/earning system.

I imagine them collecting all orders for maybe a week, or till they are out of stock, then close the offer and sending them all at once.
